The winners of Retail Week’s Technology Awards for 2009 were announced last night at the ceremony in London.
Despite the downturn in the economy a strong crowd of retailers and their suppliers turned out for the event in London to celebrate the important role that technology and IT departments have made to the industry in the past year.
Of particualr note were Asos, who took to the stage en masse, to collect the award for IT Team of the Year; and Sainsbury’s IT and change director Angela Morrison, who was presented with an outstanding contribution award.
