Oasis is developing a new m-commerce and engagement app, featuring a personal stylist booking system and social and editorial content.
The high-street fashion retailer’s app will feature wish lists that are synched to online customer profiles, integrated social content, ‘get the look’ shoppable pages, product ratings and reviews, a booking system for personal styling appointments, a barcode scanner and ’favourite store’ stock checks.
The app is being built by Red Ant, which uses an m-commerce accelerator to allow extra functions to be added in the future without Oasis having to start from scratch.
Red Ant chief executive Dan Mortimer said: “Oasis has a very clear view of the kind of service it wants to offer its customers.
“RedConnect, our retail innovation platform, gives us the opportunity to develop something which has the ability to go beyond traditional app functionality to orchestrate customer experiences across multiple touchpoints, ultimately offering them a truly connected path to purchase.”
