Shopping habits reveal a more ‘considered consumer’

According to research by shopping centre owner Hammerson and retail research firm Conlumino, the new ‘considered consumer’ spends three-and-a-half days from initial consideration to final purchase against half a day ten years ago.

Meanwhile, the number of clothing stores consumers regularly shop at has jumped from seven 20 years ago to 13 in 2014, due to the increasing accessibility to international brands.
