DIY retailer B&Q has today launched a mobile transactional website in a move to capitalise on growing online sales.

The site offers customers next day delivery on 15,000 products as well as reserve and collect.

The retailer’s existing website, DIY.com, has had 4.5 million visitors so far this year.

The mobile site follows the introduction last year of a mobile phone app.

B&Q director of multichannel Dave Elliott said: “We’re bringing our online channels in line with consumer trends to make it easier for our customers to browse, be inspired and shop for all their home improvement needs on the go with minimum effort and no fuss.”
