Hammerson has signed West End tailor Turnbull & Asser to its development at 125 Old Broad Street in the City of London.

The retailer, which has counted Winston Churchill, Prince Charles and James Bond actor Daniel Craig among its clientele, has signed for a 4,305 sq ft (400 sq m) store. It was established in London in 1885 and now has stores in New York and Beverly Hills, as well as concessions in Harrods.

The development is on the former site of the London Stock Exchange, opposite the Royal Exchange luxury shopping development. The retail element is due to open in the fourth quarter of this year.

The partnership was represented by agents CB Richard Ellis and CWM, while Harrods Estates acted for Turnbull & Asser.
