Jewellery retailer Swarovski is launching a new branded jewellery fascia in the UK with the first store due to open at Westfield Stratford.

Cadenza, which launched in Austria in January, will open a further three London stores during 2013. It is working with property agents Harper Dennis Hobbs to secure 1,000 sq ft locations in premium shopping centres and key high street locations.

The new chain will stock collections from more than 50 designers, including established names such as Valentino and Roberto Cavalli, as well as emerging brands, such as Mawi London.

On its website, Swarovski said Candenza will offer fashion jewellery and will focus on collections for “making every occasion special“.

The new format follows the launch of lola&grace, Swarovski’s chain for younger consumers, last March, first revealed by Retail-week.com.

Its first store also opened at Westfield Stratford. The chain aims to offer a mix of contemporary and vintage design using Swarovski crystals and pearls.
