Swarovski-owned accessories retailer lola&grace is to open its second store in Hammerson’s Brent Cross shopping centre in north London.

Lola&grace will open its Brent Cross store, in Swarovski’s existing location, next to Kurt Geiger this summer.  Swarovski is relocating to a new store nearly three times the size in the centre, co-owned by Standard Life Investments.

Lola&grace debuted at Westfield Stratford this year, as revealed by Retail Week.

The retailer is aimed at young women aged 18 to 25.

Hammerson said the opening further demonstrates the developer’s ability to attract new formats to its centre. Foot Locker chose to debut its Locker Room format in the centre this year, as revealed by Retail Week.

Hammerson group retail leasing director Sheila King said: “Brent Cross consistently delivers strong trading performances for retailers launching in the UK.

“The creation of lola&grace is a fantastic way of widening Swarovski’s appeal to fashion-focussed shoppers.  With such a loyal and strong catchment Brent Cross is a great location for an emerging brand.”

Lola&grace vice president Nina Müller said: “We are excited and proud to announce the opening of our second store in London this summer.

“We believe that Brent Cross is the next perfect location for the lola&grace brand to grow and we are looking forward to the upcoming opening.”

Cushman & Wakefield and Lunson Mitchenall acted on behalf of Hammerson and Standard Life Investments. Harper Dennis Hobbs acted on behalf of lola&grace.
