Swarovski is to open its premium Cadenza brand’s first store outside London in Bluewater shopping centre before Christmas.

The jewellery retailer will open its second store in an 893 sq ft unit in Bluewater’s lower Guildhall.

Swarovski already has a 862 sq ft store under its Lola and Grace brand in the shopping centre which opened last month.

Fashion and footwear brand Vans is to open a 2,900 sq ft regional flagship store in Bluewater.

Lend Lease head of retail leasing Guy Thomas said: “Vans’ and Swarovski Groups’ selection of Bluewater to spearhead the expansion of their brands outside London once again highlights Bluewater’s position as the destination of choice for international retailers seeking a dominant presence in the South East.

“The location of Vans and Lola and Grace together is part of our ongoing strategy to evolve the mix at Bluewater so that specific areas appeal to particular guests. These brands join Choice and the forthcoming upsized TopShop on the upper Rose Gallery to create a critical mass of branded high street fashion flagships and statement stores.”

Earlier this year, beds retailer Tempur opened its first standalone store in Europe on Bluewater’s lower Thames Walk.

CBRE and DTZ represented Bluewater. Harper Dennis Hobbs acted for Swarovski Group.
