M&S to open new dotcom warehouse for ‘more digital future’

As online sales rise, M&S is opening a new dotcom warehouse

Marks & Spencer is to add an online warehouse to its Bradford distribution centre as it gears up for a “more digital future”.

M&S expects the warehouse, deploying unused space at Bradford, ultimately to handle about 20% of online orders and to be operational in time for Christmas. The extra capacity will complement M&S’ existing online warehouse at Castle Donington and in-store picking.
