No date set for conclusion of OFT's findings
Suppliers have until the end of today to submit allegations of bullying by supermarkets to the Office of Fair Trading [OFT].

After inviting companies to report possible breaches of the Supermarkets Code of Conduct, the OFT has refused to comment on the number of submissions received. Media speculation has suggested evidence handed in may have been sparse, because of fears of a grocer backlash.

The OFT has not indicated when it will be announcing the conclusions of its review of evidence.

In February last year, the OFT's review of the Code found there was no hard evidence to support the widespread belief among suppliers that it was not working effectively.
