Topshop to close Westfield Stratford store after lease expires

Topshop in the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre is set to shut after its lease runs out.

The two-storey store has been in the east London shopping centre since 2011 but was not part of parent company Arcadia’s seven CVAs in June last year.

The struggling retail group planned to shut 23 stores as part of the CVA process. Its stores in the USA fell into administration and rents were cut across the remaining store portfolio.
