The latest addition to the Californian purveyor of ethical clothing’s UK portfolio is a two-storey outpost in Liverpool.

The shop bears all the white scaffolding-style hallmarks that shoppers will recognise, but benefits from a double-height frontage in a new unit. Inside, white wall grids provide a neutral setting for brightly coloured merchandise, set off by angled spotlights and fluorescent tubes.

As in other stores, headless mannequins are androgynous and white, acting as a selling vehicle that doesn’t detract from the merchandise. The stairs on the left-hand side are accompanied by a castellated structure with a series of ascending plinths for more mannequins, drawing the eye up to the next floor.

This is a brand that knows its shoppers and that delivers on its promise in terms of merchandise and ambiance.
