Whole Foods Market has opened a store in one of New York’s most famous buildings, showcasing local products and catering to the district’s well-heeled clientele.
The new store is in One Wall Street, a 56-storey building that, along with the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings, has been described as part of “New York City’s great triumvirate” of Art Deco architecture.
It has been recast as an upmarket apartment building also featuring leisure amenities and retail.
