Foot Locker’s latest European store places great emphasis on its location. Throughout the 5,920 sq ft space, the brand has engaged with local artists to create artwork intended to reflect the surroundings of Barcelona.
The sports retailer engaged with local artists to create in-store murals designed to illustrate what it called Barcelona’s “unique spirit”.
Artists also created a series of coins that younger customers can collect during their time in the kids’ area of the new retail space.
Sustainability was a priority in the design of the new Barcelona outlet, with the store’s mannequins made from reused sneakers, while new interactive tech elements are introduced to customers throughout.
