Value lifestyle retailer Miniso is opening its 50th store this month as it starts the hiring process for the festive period.
Miniso will open its 50th store at centre MK in Milton Keynes on October 29, offering its usual range of collectibles, toys, blind boxes, beauty items, accessories and snacks.
The store follows openings this year that include Glasgow Central, Croydon, Kingston, Braehead and Liverpool.
The 1,550 sq ft space will also house exclusive licensed collections from recognised brands like Hello Kitty and Friends, Sylvanian Families, Disney and Pokémon.
Miniso said Milton Keynes was chosen due to it being the UK’s second-fastest growing city and centre:MK finding its way into the UK’s top prime retail destinations.
The retailer is also creating 300 temporary Christmas jobs across its stores, with applications now open.
Miniso UK chief operating officer Saad Usman said: “Centre:MK has a total catchment of 10.5m, so it made perfect sense for us to select the city for the prestigious opening of our 50th MINISO store.
“Our brand is built around delivering an engaging and vibrant shopping experience for all visitors, which is a perfect match for centre:MK’s first-rate retail offering.
“From globally loved characters to the latest collectible trends, our stores are designed to surprise and delight customers of all ages, and we look forward to becoming part of the Milton Keynes community.”
