The new concourse at London’s King’s Cross opened yesterday with a large public space replacing the small, overcrowded area that long-suffering travellers and commuters will have been familiar with.

A substantial retail provision forms part of the new space with Oliver Bonas, Hotel Chocolat, WH Smith, TM Lewin and Paperchase all forming part of the offer.

There is also Watermark, a bookshop from the French Lagardère Group, which is a first in Europe – there are other branches in New York, Toronto and Sydney.
