In pictures: Amazon launches first online-only Whole Foods store

Whole Foods Brooklyn

Whole Foods Market, which is owned by Amazon, has opened its first online-only store in Brooklyn, New York.

The store, which opened on September 1, will be used exclusively to fulfil online orders for customers in the Brooklyn area.

The concept has been in the works for more than a year. The store layout reflects a generic supermarket, but customers are not able to shop there themselves.
