Retailers are placing physical stores at the heart of their investment strategies, according to a worldwide survey of retail executives by Bain and VusionGroup shared exclusively with Retail Week. 

Three-quarters of these executives say they are planning a large-scale store transformation within the next two years, according to the report, which called on 66 leaders, all from one of the top 250 retailers in the world.
