Data: Retail sales grow in February as Covid restrictions end

Retail sales increased in February as categories such as furniture, homewares, fashion and jewellery recorded strong growth over the month.

Total sales increased by 6.7% in February compared with the same month last year when all ‘non-essential’ retail was shut, according to the BRC-KPMG Retail Sales Monitor.
