Brazilian brand Farm Rio opens first European store on King’s Road
Brazilian fashion and lifestyle brand Farm Rio has opened its 100th international and first-ever European store on King’s Road, Chelsea, London.
The retailer said the new 1,500 sq ft store “brings authentic Brazilian warmth, colour and borogodó [vibrancy and charm] to the streets of London”.
It was built in collaboration with Brazilian architect and designer Marcelo Rosenbaum. His design includes hand-painted tropical wallpaper, buriti–straw fitting rooms and a 26 m “marquetry-crafted panel, which sits at the heart of the store”.
