Fashion retailer Oysho has opened the doors to its first UK store at Westfield London in White City as it “strengthens its international presence”.

The Spanish retailer, owned by the Inditex group, specialises in womenswear, sportswear and lingerie. It has expanded its Oysho Sport offering over the last few years in a bid to win on the activewear battleground.

Shoppers will be able to purchase a range of Oysho products at the London flagship, including its “innovative sport collections”, which include fitness, yoga, running, trekking and tennis ranges.

The new 3,552 sq ft space will also stock seasonal lines such as swimwear and beachwear.

The store is split across two floors and provides shoppers with free Wi-Fi and three self-checkout stations to avoid long queuing times.

Oysho said its new store incorporates services “aimed to improve the consumer experience” including a click-and-collect service available within one hour of ordering a product via the app, in-store delivery and the option to save receipts in a digital format via a QR code.

The fashion retailer said the new London store is “reinforcing its journey towards the world of sport” while also portraying the brand image and its in-store shopping experience concept.

The new London store brings Oysho’s total estate to 457 across 56 markets.
