Bridal specialists Wed2b has unveiled its largest-ever London store, bringing over 1,500 wedding dresses under one roof.
The retailer labelled its 10,000+ sq ft megastore, located at Royal Victoria Dock in East London, as its “most ambitious store yet”.
The space is designed to give brides-to-be more choice, space and a more immersive experience than any of the retailer’s other locations.
It features a new retail concept, fitting experiences and a virtual try-on experience for brides and the wedding party to explore various styles.
Wed2b co-founder and managing director Todd Cassidy said: “The Megastore represents where we want to take Wed2b as a brand.
“It gives brides more choice, more space to explore and more ways to discover what suits them, but importantly, we don’t want scale to make bridal shopping feel overwhelming.
“We want it to make the experience feel even more personal. Our recent research, with more than 11,000 brides across the UK and Europe, reinforced just how important confidence, reassurance and honest advice are when choosing a wedding dress.
Co-founder and director Jenny Cassidy added: “That thinking has helped shape the megastore. It builds on the experience we already offer across Wed2b, bringing together an even greater breadth of dresses, more space to explore and the support of our bridal experts.
“Ultimately, it’s about taking what brides already value about Wed2b and creating an even more memorable experience around one of the most important purchases they’ll ever make.”
