Steve Hall to be replaced as MD at Gamestation

Gamestation founder and managing director Steve Hall is to leave the business following its purchase last October by Blockbuster.

Hall officially leaves this October, but surrendered his managing director role last week. In the interim, he is relocating to Dallas, Texas, to work with Blockbuster's US games team. A spokesman for the retailer said Hall, who founded the business in 1993, wanted to 'explore new opportunities outside of both Gamestation and Blockbuster'.

Hall has been replaced as managing director by Michael Logue, who joined Gamestation as operations director last September. He was previously operations director at Phones 4U.
