Sports Direct appoints non-exec

Claire Jenkins joins as a non-executive director with immediate effect. She is currently group director corporate affairs at Rexam, a global consumer packaging company. She has also worked at tobacco company Gallaher Group.

Keith Hellawell, non-executive chairman of Sports Direct said: “We are very pleased to welcome Claire to the board of Sports Direct.  Her broad corporate experience will be a great asset to the Company, and her appointment further strengthens the board.”
