Athleisurewear brand Tala has announced the appointment of a new creative director to its top team today.

Jon Wetherell joins Tala with a “wealth of experience” across guiding creative teams and delivering campaigns, having previously been creative director at fashion retailer Boden.
Wetherell was also previously creative director at Net a Porter and prior to that was an art director at a number of fashion magazines including Esquire, GQ, Harpers Bazaar and InStyle.
He will report into chief executive Morgan Fowles in his new role at Tala, and will “spearhead the marketing creative direction to drive the brand’s visuals and tone of voice”.
Tala said in a statement that the appointment of Wetherell comes alongside its current “ambitious” international expansion plans and called it a “significant milestone”.

Chief executive Fowles said: “I’m delighted for Jon to be joining the team at Tala. His extensive experience in industry-leading brands and publications, alongside his exceptional creative vision, will be instrumental in solidifying our position as a leader in the active-inspired fashion industry.
