JD Sports hails resilient performance despite falling profits
JD Sports said it has delivered a resilient performance against a challenging backdrop in its first half, despite reporting a near 20% drop in profit.
During the year, JD sports continued its store optimisation programme. This included new ‘bigger and better’ UK flagships, the consolidation of its German business, and the reorganisation of JD and Sizeer in Eastern Europe.
