Specsavers starts rebranding of its HearCare stores

Opticians chain Specsavers has begun rebranding the HearCare hearing centre stores acquired last year.

The first shop to be rebranded as Specsavers HearCare, with new signage, has just opened at Solihull in the West Midlands. The expansion into hearing aids emulates the success of Scrivens, a Birmingham-based optician and hearing business.

There are eight HearCare stores at present, and they will be rebranded by the end of next month.

Three stores will open next month with plans for 100 more over the next four years. Last year, the company generated group sales of£490 million and will celebrate 20 years in business this year.
