Victorian Plumbing founder and chief executive Mark Radcliffe will step down from the helm after more than 25 years at the business.
The bathroom specialist said Radcliffe will relinquish his role on March 31, 2026 and will be succeeded by managing director Stephnie Judge.
Victorian Plumbing said Judge was a “natural choice” to take over the running of the business. Radcliffe will remain on the board as a non-executive founder director.
In the same update, the retailer said the positive momentum experienced in its first quarter had continued, with sales for the first 21 weeks of its current financial year up 9%, thanks to strong order volume growth across all categories with margins maintained at historic levels.
Both Radcliffe and Judge will work closely to ensure a smooth transition into their new roles.
Judge joined the company in 2013 and was promoted to group managing director in 2020. Victorian Plumbing said her leadership has been instrumental in driving the group’s growth and delivering key strategic initiatives, including its recent warehouse transformation and the acquisitions of Victoria Plum and Sovereign Transport Services.
Radcliffe said: “Victorian Plumbing has been on an amazing journey in the 25 years since I founded it, and I feel that now is the right time to hand over the reins. Stephnie is the right person to guide Victorian Plumbing through the next phase of growth and take advantage of the significant opportunities that lie ahead.
“I have every confidence that Victorian Plumbing will continue to go from strength to strength, and I look forward to my new founder director role.”
Judge added: “I am honoured and excited to take over from Mark as chief executive of Victorian Plumbing, a company that he started from his parents’ garden shed over two and a half decades ago.
“I am confident that the strategy we have put in place together is the right one, and I look forward to working with the executive leadership team and Mark in his new founder director role as we continue to win market share while delivering excellent value and choice for our customers.”
