Solutions analysis - Tiffany's opens its fourth UK store in Chelsea

Tiffany & Co opened its fourth UK store in London earlier this month. The building, which sits on the corner of Sloane Square in Chelsea, is part of the Cadogan Mansions development and has retail space occupying 4,200 sq ft (390 sq m) over two floors.

The design echoes the New York Fifth Avenue flagship, with rich-coloured Makore wood panels and stainless steel-trimmed glass cabinets.

The jewellery is displayed by collection in oval-shaped islands across the store, allowing customers to browse easily.

Cadogan Estates developed the exterior, which has been restored using Sussex brick. Tiffany president James Quinn said: 'Our success in London has given us great enthusiasm for a fourth location here.'
