Selfridges has promoted two of its directors with womenswear boss Judd Crane taking on additional responsibility for accessories.

Crane, who joined Selfridges from Hong Kong department store Lane Crawford in February 2012, has overseen the retailer’s most significant refurbishment in over a decade including the overhaul of its designer floor in Oxford Street. The addition of accessories to his remit will give him visibility across womenswear.

Meanwhile, director of beauty Jayne Demuro will add home to her responsibilities. Demuro has been at Selfridges for over 10 years.

During that time she has made its Oxford Street store’s beauty hall the most profitable beauty space in the world, according to the retailer. Demuro has also driven the revamp of the beauty space in its Birmingham store, which is scheduled to complete later this spring.
