Selfridges has collaborated with renowned British fashion designer Anya Hindmarch to create its Christmas hampers.

The collection features 11 hampers ranging from£55 to£1,000 and includes a Mothers’ Ruin hamper – containing Hendricks gin, a pair of marigold gloves and biscuits that spell out “hic”. The Best of British hamper (pictured), contains a book called Great British Wit, a Monty Python DVD and English classics including Marmite, Colman’s Mustard and HP Sauce. The hampers will be available in stores and online from mid-October.

Hindmarch said: “When Selfridges asked if I wanted to design a hamper, I leapt at the idea of not only designing a hamper but choosing what I would really like to receive in one.”
