Jewellery chain H Samuel is introducing in-store ‘proposal packs’ for men to cash in on the increasing trend for customers to propose to their partners in its stores.
The packs will be given out by staff and include a soft cushion to kneel on and a bottle of bubbly.
The pack will be given to couples who choose a ring from the retailer’s new Christmas Kisses range and will also include tissues for any tears that may be shed.
H Samuel stores director Kevin Ryan said: “In-store proposals are proving increasingly popular. If a couple come in to look at a ring, the moment seems right to propose.”
In-store proposals have trebled in the past 12 months, says the retailer.
