Sales don't slide at Waitrose but its customers do

Consumers depressed by January can cheer themselves up with a trip down Waitrose’s Love Life slide at Westfield Stratford City. As an alternative to the escalator or stairs, Waitrose has installed a 42ft slide at the entrance to the shopping centre to promote its healthy food range, Love Life. Best to try it out before going shopping though, as it might not be so much fun with a handful of carrier bags.
