Sainsbury's has appointed a new online chief, following a management shake up.
Toby Anderson has been promoted to the Sainsbury's To You role, replacing Robin Lassiter. Anderson was most recently scope and strategy manager, trading, at Sainsbury's.
Anderson said: 'This is a great opportunity and I look forward to continuing the work Robin has done to drive Sainsbury's To You forward. We will continue to deliver the strong service our customers expect, while looking at new opportunities to grow the business.'
Lassiter has moved to the position of central retail operations director and is now the head office point of call for stores. Lassiter replaces Stuart Machin, who is now Sainsbury's regional operations director for eastern England.
Sainsbury's To You is second in the online grocery league, behind Tesco.com.
Sainsbury's To You covers approximately 75 per cent of the population and generates sales of about£200 million a year.
In comparison, Tesco.com covers more than 95 per cent of the population and made£447 million in sales last year.
