Retail sales volumes up 3.1% in March, claims ONS
The volume of retail sales, excluding petrol, increased in March by 3.1% compared to the same month a year ago, while the value of retail sales in the same period increased by 4.5%, according to the Office of National Statistics.

ONS reports surprisingly strong January sales figures
Overall retail sales rose 8.2% by value and 5.3% by volume in January compared to the same month last year, according to the Office of National Statistics (ONS).
