Robert Dyas (Financials)
Robert Dyas reported growth across both its online and stores channels for the 2021 financial year to 26 March 2022 (FY2021), despite retail market challenges and supply chain issues, largely casued by the pandemic. Total sales rose 34.4% to £164.6m for FY2021, from £122.5m the year before. Sales had declined by 9.6% in FY2020 when the pandemic forced stores to remain shut for almost all of the first quarter of the financial year. A campaign focused on cutting the cost of living in FY2021 resonated with customers, with energy-saving products like air fryers, portable heaters and heated airers performing well.
