The New West End Company has revealed its line-up and events for High Street Fashion Week which will take place on London’s Oxford Street next month.
Resident retailers including Selfridges, Topman and River Island wil join forces to promote the area with a week long event including fahion shows, in-store events and special offers for customers.
The events will take place from September 7 to September 11.
London Mayor Boris Johnson said: “Our own West End is an extraordinary shop window full of top designs, which is key to our continued success in attracting millions of shoppers throughout the year. What better way to mark the start of London Fashion Week than with the first ever High Street Fashion Week on Oxford Street which celebrates this great success story by bringing the catwalk, creative brands and customers together.”
To kick start proceedings, British popstar Alesha Dixon was officially crowned High Street Fashion Queen and the first ambassador for High Street Fashion Week.
