Retail Week Interiors - Louis Vuitton's Sloane St store gets makeover

Luxury brand Louis Vuitton is to relaunch its Sloane Street store in July. The three-floor, 5,380 sq ft (500 sq m) outlet will feature a 7 m glass facade, allowing shoppers to view the interiors of all three floors simultaneously.

The interior will take its design cue from the brand's Roppongi Hills outlet, which opened in Tokyo last year, and is based on architect Peter Marino's concept for Louis Vuitton stores worldwide. Extensive use is made of luxury materials, particularly polished limestone and aniegre wood.

The store, Louis Vuitton's ninth in the UK, will stock the full Vuitton range, with accessories and leather goods on the ground floor, menswear on the mezzanine and womenswear on lower ground.
