Luxury footwear brand Kurt Geiger has opened a store in affluent Hampstead. Designed by London consultancy Four IV, the store is described as 'boldly understated' and features dark wood flooring. Product is displayed on benches at different heights in deep red lacquer, glass and chrome, designed to fit together in different formations. The designers have also created a simple chrome cage system that can be used in-store or in the window beds to display product. The brief given to Four IV was to address the needs of the brand, while taking flexibility and ease of implementation into consideration. The concept will be applied initially to four stores, with the Brighton outlet the next to open in early June.
