Retail Week Interiors - Boots summer lines promoted by escalator friezes in 60 of its stores

Boots has unveiled a series of escalator graphics aimed at informing customers about its summer shop.

A graphic frieze, designed by Newport Pagnell-based Brand Design, has been installed in 60 stores 'as part of the process of store enhancement and providing a link between floors', according to director Tony Walton.

He added: 'It offers shoppers guidance about the location of the summer shop.'

This is the second time the consultancy has worked with Boots on its escalators.

The relationship started at the end of last year, when it designed and rolled out a Christmas escalator frieze to 189 stores across the country.

Brand Design is also working with Argos on its July Sale material and is at 'concept stage' with elements of the retailer's autumn campaign.
