Photography specialist Jessops has enhanced its Web site through a deal with Multimap.com, which will enable visitors to find their nearest store.
The feature provides visitors with details of the retailer's 250 stores nationwide. These include addresses, store opening times and specialised services available at that each store. Detailed directions to the store are also provided.
The supplier claims that adding such details to a Web site can increase footfall in the shop by almost 30 times.
'Our typical customer is tech-savvy and pre-disposed to using the Internet to an even greater extent than the norm,' said Jessops head of Web development Iain Roberts. 'It's becoming increasingly the standard to offer online customers mapping services (on the site).'
