Retail Solutions - Kurt Muller picks Eurostop solution for outlet chain

International men's fashion brand Kurt Muller has bought a solution from retail management and EPoS software specialist Eurostop for its nine outlets in retail villages across the UK and Ireland.

The company has acquired Eurostop's WinRMIS retail-management information system, PoS software and gift account and customer loyalty systems, which will be installed in a new store in Bridgend. The system will then be rolled out to the company's eight other branches, starting with its Basingstoke outlet. A further eight outlets are planned next year.

According to Eurostop, the system is being installed to integrate Kurt Muller's buying arm more closely with its sales data so that the company can improve on replenishment and react to changes in customers' buying trends.

In a statement, Kurt Muller managing director Sanjiv Kapoor said: 'It is important to have IT systems that support our branch staff with detailed customer information at the till that is fully synchronised with head office. Fast, real-time sales analysis is vital.'

The system will also be used to integrate the store's Web site so that the company's customer loyalty programme can operate both in-store and online.
