Retail Property - Morgan signs up at Centre Court

Fashion retailer Morgan has taken over the former Wax Lyrical unit in Standard Life Investments' Centre Court shopping centre at Wimbledon in southwest London.

Morgan has agreed a 15-year lease on the 95 sq m Unit 226 on the Upper Mall at£72,000 per annum. It joins Oasis, Bay Trading, Warehouse and Monsoon in the centre's fashion pitch.

In other recent deals at Centre Court, Colors has taken a 50 sq m unit at£40,000 per annum, Et Cetera has taken the 265 sq m Unit 113 at£95,500 per annum, while Eisenegger has taken the 230 sq m former JJB Sports unit, having agreed a rent of£135,000 per annum.
