The problem is that whichever path you follow it is very time consuming and with it being the busiest time of the year we haven't physically got the time to change everything overnight. Sure I can keep the ticket price the same but when I change the VAT on the EPOS system it automatically recalculates the price paid at the checkout. That means we have to look up and re-price every one of our lines, some 6000+ items. The alternative is to relabel items in the store which will amount to probably 20000+ but possibly easier in the long run. Had it been put off until 1st February there would have been less stock in store so the job would have been much quicker.
