Just what we need to revitalise the UK high street, more mobile phone stores.

I was just thinking the other day as I walked through Oxford city centre past Orange,

then Vodafone,

then Carphone warehouse,

then Phones4U,

Nokia,

The Link,

O2,

Oh look another Carphone Warehouse

T-Mobile

Mobile phones direct….

...we just don't have enough stores these days where, if the fancy takes me, I can while away a happy hour or three looking at the same handsets and virtually the same tariffs, time after time after time.

Thank goodness that sense has prevailed and we're going to see even more of our town centres and shopping malls dominated by these innovative and diverse outlets. No wonder British retail is the envy of the world.
