The silly decision by many major companies to declare that the new way or working following and during covid was the future are all now of course realising what smaller companies at the time saw as obvious that staff would not work as hard at home as they would in the office.

Many still think that 4 days a week should be the norm when most smaller businesses moved back to full time working at the place of work years ago.

It shows that the majority of large retail companies are not connected to its employees. If they don’t return 5 days a week they should be offered an exit.
