The comment above forgets that the business had no significance to the world we are in. They started to fill space with DVDs, cheap outdoor clothing and Arcadia brands that can not stand alone on the high street, and whilst we must feel for the team left behind...it was just never going to work in this day and age. Many a commentator crowed when Woolies left this planet...but tell me what do you miss about Woolies. The same will be said about BHS in a year or two.
