The recent criticism was unjustified, as they were comparing cheap alcoholic drinks with expensive bottled waters. tesco sell 2L bottled water at 17p which is much cheaper than their cheap booze.

Also as mentioned on the BBC this morning, Tesco sell Value Lager at 22p a tin, but it tastes bloody awful, and you are more likely to get drunk on Shandy Bass with alcohol content.
