US$200m paid for Moscow supermarket chain
Russia's largest supermarket, Pyaterochka, has bought Moscow retailer Metronom AG, owner of the local Merkado supermarket chain in the city, in a deal worth US$200 million (£107.8 million).

Under the terms of the deal it acquires 355,220 sq ft (33,000 sq m) of retail space, as well as office space in the centre of Moscow totalling 182,990 sq ft (17,000 sq m).
