Jones Bootmaker and The Body Shop have both signed for space at the Waterside Shopping Centre in Lincoln.

Jones Bootmaker has taken a 2,042 sq ft unit and The Body Shop has secured a 1,600 sq ft store. Meanwhile, The Fragrance Shop has renewed its lease and each of the retailers have signed 10-year agreements.

Waterside, which is owned by Capital & Regional, recently finished its first phase of renovation works, which included extending its food court. The second phase will focus on modernising the centre, including installing a three-quarter height glass frontage

Capital & Regional retail asset manager Andrew Haughey said: “The new letting to Jones Bootmaker, coupled with the renewal of The Fragrance Shop lease and the return of the The Body Shop, reinforces its status as the leading retail scheme in the area. The refurbishment of the entrance is part of our wider redevelopment plans, which are now in the final stages and are due to be completed later this year.”

KLM acted on behalf of Jones Bootmaker, Hynes Illingworth acted on behalf of The Fragrance Shop and MMX Retail acted on behalf of The Body Shop. Tushingham Moore acted on behalf of Waterside Shopping Centre.
